Everyone who works in a museum has a favorite exhibit. You know the one. It’s that exhibit that makes you smile when you walk past it. The one you brag about on Facebook. The exhibit you protect a little more by moving back the stanchions when the school groups come through. It’s the exhibit of which you are most proud. Well, that isn’t the one we want to talk about.
We’d like you to think about the “other” exhibit in your facility. Perhaps it’s the one that was installed when Jimmy Carter was President. Maybe it’s the exhibit that requires you to constantly rewind and restart the tape in the VCR. It could be the exhibit with the Republic of Zaire still proudly displayed on the map of Africa. Maybe it’s a brand new exhibit with all the bells and whistles that just does not excite you or your guests. Whatever the scenario, we want to hear about it!
The truth is most every museum exhibit can be improved. Some just need minor adjustments. Others may require a little investment of time and some elbow grease. Rarely does an existing exhibit require a complete overhaul. Over the years we’ve seen thousands of exhibits in countless museums around the World. Why not take advantage of our expertise?
Tell us about your “less-than-perfect” exhibit. We’d love to take a look at it and provide you with some suggestions on how it can be improved.
We look forward to hearing from you!
